Assignment Details
- Position: Clinic RN
- Schedule: Weekdays 8A-5P and 10A-7P on some days
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract Length: Temp to Perm
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay rate $60
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established nursing standards and clinic protocols.
- Perform patient triage, vital sign assessments, and health screenings.
- Administer medications, immunizations, treatments, and injections as prescribed.
- Assist providers during examinations and medical procedures.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Coordinate care and referrals to specialists, community resources, and support services.
- Monitor patient progress and follow-up on treatment plans and laboratory results.
- Document patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in chronic disease management programs, including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and other conditions.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention measures.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address social determinants of health and improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (One Year Experience)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in primary care, community health, family practice, or ambulatory care preferred

The Registered Nurse – Clinic/Wellness/Immunization works in a variety of either remote or clinic locations to serve a specific population's health and wellness needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently to provide quality appropriate care in accordance with facility’s policies and protocols. These variety of sites include but are not limited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, job safety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatric to geriatric age populations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
- One year experience as a nurse in a clinic or immunization setting preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
