Job Description

RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Classical Hematologist at the assistant, associate, or professor level within the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized academic institution and contribute to a state-of-the-art Cancer Center. The successful candidate will play a key role in clinical research, teaching, and patient care, advancing clinical medicine within a multidisciplinary team.

• Our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center facility in Chicago will serve as a hub for services throughout our health system.

• Our core programs are supported by multi-disciplinary teams from hematology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, research and bioinformatics, clinical operations, and dedicated clinical and support staff, including patient navigators.

• This structure allows specialists to more easily consult and see patients based on tumor type or molecular and genomic signatures, combining our outstanding multidisciplinary approach with a data infrastructure that supports this patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in hematology

• MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent)

• Experience in clinical and laboratory aspects of Hematology in the areas of anemia and disorders of hemostasis
