Clinical Pharmacist I Join the transformative team at City of Hope.
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to serve as the medication management expert, provide accurate drug information to providers, nurses, and other staff, supervise technicians, and collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high‑quality patient care.
As a successful candidate, you will: Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure the medication management process is safe, high quality, and cost‑effective for all patients.
- Provide oversight of a safe and timely medication use system.
Oversee compounding in accordance with USP, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulations.
Ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, transported, and wasted appropriately.
Ensure controlled substance processes are adhered to.
Collaborate with members of a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patients' medication therapy.
Participate in care coordination and investigational drug management for research patients, following all required regulations and practices.
Actively support reporting of pharmacy interventions, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors.
Your qualifications should include: Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy school or a school with ACPE accreditation pending.
Current California pharmacist license.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
