We are seeking a highly organized and technically capable CET & Digital Specification Specialist to support and help scale the U.S. digital specification experience across our portfolio.

Reporting to the Digital Commerce & Specification Manager, this role will focus heavily on
CET Designer and digital specification tools, ensuring that products are accurately represented, easy to configure and specify, and accessible to dealers, architects, designers and internal sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CET Designer/Configura, product configuration, specification workflows, product data, CAD/3D assets, and/or the furniture industry. We are open to candidates coming from a
design, specification, technical, product data or digital technology background who have strong transferable skills and an interest in digital specification.





About the Role

The CET & Digital Specification Specialist will play a key role in building and maintaining PFGNA's U.S. digital specification capabilities.





This role will focus heavily on the CET Designer/Configura environment, including product libraries, configurations, SKUs, finishes, dimensions, pricing, BOM information and digital product assets.





The Specialist will work closely with teams in the U.S., Italy, Configura, dealers and the Architecture & Design community to ensure that products across PFGNA's portfolio are easy to discover, configure and specify.





Responsibilities





CET & Digital Specification


- Support and maintain the U.S. CET Designer/Configura environment for PFGNA's portfolio of brands.
- Manage and maintain CET product libraries, configurations, SKUs, finishes, dimensions, pricing and BOM information.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of CET extensions, product libraries and configuration workflows.
- Ensure products are accurately represented and easy for dealers, architects and designers to specify.
- Coordinate with Italian teams and Configura on the development, maintenance and enhancement of CET product libraries and extensions.
- Support the addition of new products, collections, finishes and configurations to the CET environment.
- Perform ongoing quality-control checks to ensure CET information is accurate, current and functioning correctly.
- Identify inconsistencies, missing information and technical issues and coordinate appropriate resolution.






Product Data & Configuration


- Maintain accurate product specifications and structured product information.
- Organize and manage information including dimensions, finishes, pricing, configurations, SKUs, CAD files, 3D assets and other specification data.
- Support processes for new product launches, price changes, discontinued products and product updates.
- Work with Product, Sales and Italian teams to ensure product information is consistent and current.
- Help establish clear processes and standards for maintaining product data across CET and other digital specification platforms.
- Support the accurate configuration and specification of ancillary and complementary products where applicable.






Dealer & A&D Support


- Provide technical support related to CET and digital specification tools for dealers, A&D representatives and internal sales teams.
- Help troubleshoot product configuration and specification issues.
- Develop training materials, guides and documentation to support CET adoption.
- Conduct CET training sessions for internal teams and key dealer partners as needed.
- Act as a resource for questions related to product configuration, digital specification and CET workflows.
- Gather feedback from dealers, designers and other users and identify opportunities to improve the specification experience.
- Develop an understanding of how dealers, architects and designers use CET and related tools throughout the project and specification process.






Digital Specification Strategy & Adoption


- Monitor CET usage and adoption across the U.S. market.
- Identify opportunities to increase adoption among dealers, architects, designers and internal teams.
- Recommend improvements to product libraries, workflows and user experience.
- Help ensure PFGNA's portfolio of products is easy to discover, configure, specify and incorporate into projects.
- Support the development of scalable digital specification processes as the business continues to grow.
- Stay current on developments in digital specification and configuration technology, including emerging Configura capabilities.






Automation & Process Improvement


- Identify opportunities to improve and automate CET-related workflows and processes.
- Work with the E-Commerce Engineer & Digital Automation Specialist and Digital Commerce & Specification Manager to improve the flow of product data across systems.
- Help reduce manual processes and improve the accuracy and efficiency of product updates.
- Support the implementation of new digital tools and technologies relevant to product specification.






Cross-Functional Collaboration


- Work closely with the Digital Commerce & Specification Manager to execute PFGNA's U.S. digital specification strategy.
- Partner with Product Management, Sales, A&D, Retail, Marketing and IT teams.
- Collaborate with Italian product, digital and technology teams.
- Work directly with Configura and other external technology partners as needed.
- Translate technical product and configuration information into clear, usable resources for internal and external users.






Qualifications





Required


- 3+ years of experience with CET Designer/Configura strongly preferred; candidates with experience using comparable digital specification or configuration platforms may also be considered based on transferable technical skills.
- Experience working with product configurations, SKUs, finishes, dimensions, pricing and structured product data.
- Experience in contract/commercial furniture, architecture, interior design, product specification, product data, digital technology or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of product specification and configuration workflows.
- Experience working with CAD files, 3D models or other digital product assets.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple product updates and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.






Preferred


- Direct experience with CET Designer and Configura.
- Experience developing or maintaining CET product libraries and/or CET extensions.
- Familiarity with industry specification and configuration tools such as
Spec, BI, Figure, 2020 Worksheet and/or CAP.
- Experience working with contract furniture dealers, furniture manufacturers or the Architecture & Design community.
- Experience with ancillary products and/or open-line furniture.
- Familiarity with CAD, Revit, 3D models and digital specification workflows.
- Experience with PIM, DAM or other product-information management systems.
- Experience providing training or technical support to dealers, designers or sales teams.
- Experience with automation, AI or digital tools that improve product data and specification workflows.
- Experience in luxury furniture or premium design brands.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who understands that digital specification is a critical part of the customer, dealer and sales experience.





The ideal candidate may come from a design, specification, technology, product data or furniture industry background and will bring strong technical aptitude along with an understanding of how furniture products are configured, specified and brought to market.





They should be comfortable working within CET Designer/Configura, managing product configurations and data, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting dealers and A&D professionals, and collaborating with internal, Italian and external technology teams.





Experience with ancillary products, dealer/manufacturer environments and related specification tools is highly valued.





The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, curious and comfortable learning new technologies while helping PFGNA build and scale its digital specification capabilities.
