Role Description: The Certified Pharmacy Technician is a part-time, on-site role based in Westport, CT. We are open Monday to Saturday 9-6 pm. This role supports the pharmacist in processing prescriptions, preparing medications, and ensuring accurate labeling and documentation. Daily tasks include assisting customers at the counter, assisting them with medical supplies, and coordinating with prescribers and insurance providers as needed. The technician helps maintain pharmacy inventory by receiving stock, organizing supplies, and monitoring medication levels and expiration dates. The role also includes operating point-of-sale systems, following safety and regulatory guidelines, and contributing to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications


- Strong foundation in prescription processing and pharmacy operations, with active Certified Pharmacy Technician credential.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Skills in inventory control, including tracking stock, managing ordering needs, and maintaining organized medication storage.
- Excellent customer service abilities, including clear communication, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform tasks in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
