The short version

We're a physician-led hormone and wellness clinic looking for a certified MA who is excellent with a needle, genuinely likes people, and wants to become an expert in a fast-growing corner of medicine. You'll get real responsibility from day one, direct access to our physicians, and patients who know you by name.

Who we are

Androgenix is a family-owned clinic in North Palm Beach, founded in 2015. We specialize in hormone replacement therapy (TRT/HRT), peptide therapy, medical weight loss (GLP-1s), and IV therapy. Our patients are cash-pay, which means no insurance gatekeeping, no 7-minute visits, and no fighting with payers over what a patient needs. They come to us because they want to feel like themselves again, and they stay because we deliver.

We're a team of nine. Everyone knows everyone. Decisions get made in a hallway conversation, not a committee. That's the environment you'd be joining.

Why this role is different from your last MA job

Most MA jobs are volume work: room, vitals, next. This one isn't. Our patients are on long-term protocols, so you'll see the same people every few weeks for months and years. You'll watch a 52-year-old who came in exhausted and foggy turn into someone who's sleeping, training, and showing up for their family. You'll know their kids' names. That continuity is rare in clinical work, and it's the best part of this job.

You'll also learn a specialty most MAs never touch. Testosterone protocols, estradiol and progesterone therapy, peptides, GLP-1 titration, IV nutrient therapy: our physicians teach, and you'll be expected to learn. Within a year you should be able to walk a nervous new patient through exactly what to expect from their protocol and why.

What you'll actually do

This is a hybrid role. Most of your day is clinical, but a real share of it is clerical, and we need someone who takes the paperwork as seriously as the needle. If you only want to be in the treatment room, this isn't the fit.

Clinical


- Draw labs (venipuncture) for comprehensive hormone and wellness panels and process specimens for send-out. Our patients get labs frequently, so you need to be smooth and confident, especially with difficult sticks.
- Administer IM and subQ injections under provider orders: testosterone, peptides, GLP-1s, B12 and vitamin injections
- Set up, prime, and assist with IV therapy infusions and monitor patients during treatment
- Room patients, take vitals, update medications and symptoms in the EMR, and flag anything the provider should know before walking in
- Teach new patients to self-inject at home. Patience and clear instruction matter here; a patient who leaves confident is a patient who sticks with treatment.
- Own the treatment rooms: stocked, clean, compliant. Manage medication inventory, sharps, and refrigerated products, and know when to reorder before we run out.
- Follow through on provider orders: lab requisitions, refill coordination, pharmacy communication, results follow-up


Clerical and front desk (a daily part of the job, not an occasional favor)


- Check patients in and out, answer phones, and respond to patient messages and portal requests
- Schedule and confirm appointments, lab visits, and follow-ups; keep the provider schedule tight and accurate
- Collect payments, post charges, and keep patient accounts current
- Prepare and send lab requisitions, pharmacy orders, and prior-authorization-free paperwork (we're cash-pay, but there's still plenty of it)
- Scan, file, and maintain patient records so charts are complete before every visit
- Track supply and medication orders and keep inventory logs current


Who we're looking for

Must-haves


- Active CMA or RMA certification
- Proven venipuncture and injection skills. You should be comfortable drawing labs your first week, not your first month.
- 1+ years of hands-on clinical MA experience
- Current BLS/CPR
- EMR fluency and solid general computer skills
- A calm, discreet, and warm bedside manner. Our patients are dealing with personal issues (low energy, low libido, weight, menopause) and they need to feel safe with you.
- The kind of reliability where nobody has to wonder if you'll be there
- Organized and detail-oriented on the admin side. Clean charts, accurate scheduling, and follow-through on paperwork matter as much here as clinical skill.


Strong pluses


- Experience in a hormone, men's health, women's health, weight loss, med spa, or IV/wellness clinic
- Familiarity with peptides or GLP-1 protocols
- Bilingual English/Spanish
