Job Description
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Division Chief of Cardiology/Cardio-Oncology and Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologists to join its expanding Cardio-Oncology division. This role offers the opportunity to practice advanced cardiovascular care within a nationally recognized cancer center, focusing on multidisciplinary oncology treatment and survivorship. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative clinical care, education, and research in a highly supportive academic environment.

Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive Clinical Cardiology and Cardio-Oncology services for patients across the cancer care continuum.
• Diagnose and manage cardiovascular complications related to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and cancer survivorship.
• Perform and interpret ECGs, transthoracic echocardiography including strain imaging, and transesophageal echocardiography.
• Collaborate closely with oncology, surgery, radiation oncology, critical care, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in the continued expansion of cardio-oncology and advanced cardiac imaging services.
• Lead and support strategic growth initiatives within the Cardiology/Cardio-Oncology division (for Division Chief role).
• Contribute to operational excellence, quality initiatives, and patient-centered care improvements.
• Engage in mentorship and academic development through Roswell Park's collaborative research and mentoring infrastructure.

Requirements
• MD, DO, or equivalent degree with Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the State of New York.
• Strong clinical expertise in cardiology and interest in cardio-oncology care.
• ASCeXAM testamur status and/or extensive echocardiography experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary oncology environments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered cardiovascular care for oncology patients and survivors.
• Interest in academic medicine, mentorship, quality improvement, and program development.
• Leadership experience and interest in directing or expanding a Cardiology/Cardio-Oncology division (Preferred).
• Active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine (Preferred).
