The Breast Oncology Nurse Navigator (BONN) is a vital resource dedicated to supporting patients throughout their cancer journey. This RN is highly trained and knowledgeable about various treatment options, emotional challenges, and the financial implications associated with a cancer diagnosis. The BONN will assess the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their loved ones, providing interventions or referrals as required. Key objectives for this role include: 1) delivering essential information and education to alleviate stress related to a cancer diagnosis, 2) empowering patients to actively engage in their care, 3) enhancing their understanding of treatment choices and plans, and 4) guiding patients through to survivorship planning when applicable.

Location: Providence Portland Medical Center's Franz Clinic, 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR.
Required Qualifications:
• Education to fulfill certification, license or registration requirements.
• Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 18 months of hire: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
• 3 years of oncology experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in case management or as a Clinical Trial Nurse.
