Breast Imaging Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking a fellowship-trained or similarly experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist for an in-person or hybrid position at our state-of-the-art breast imaging centers in Nassau and Suffolk County, Long Island. This subspecialized role features no general radiology call or coverage, utilizing advanced technology and equipment to provide comprehensive screening and diagnostic breast imaging. Clinicians will benefit from a flexible work schedule, collaborative patient care with multidisciplinary specialists, and opportunities for academic appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

• Offices located in the suburbs of NYC, offering easy access to Manhattan and surrounding regions

• State-of-the-art breast imaging centers located in Nassau and Suffolk County, Long Island

• System-wide IT infrastructure and PACS with advanced technical support

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret screening and diagnostic breast imaging exams

• Perform image-guided breast biopsies and tumor-localizations for surgical procedures

• Collaborate closely with breast specialists in surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and genetics

• Participate in resident and fellow education
