Bone Density Technologist (DEXA)

Miami, FL | Full-Time | $35–$40/hour
Relocation Assistance Available

We are seeking a Bone Density Technologist to perform DEXA scans and provide a positive, comfortable experience for patients.

This is primarily a DEXA/Bone Density position with a steady patient schedule. Hologic experience is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
• Perform bone density/DEXA exams according to physician orders and established protocols
• Verify patient information and exam orders
• Explain procedures and assist patients with proper positioning
• Produce accurate, high-quality images while following radiation safety procedures
• Enter patient information and maintain accurate exam records
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or technical issues
• Work closely with radiologists and the clinical team to ensure quality imaging
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide occasional X-ray support in emergency situations, as needed
What We’re Looking For
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
• ARRT certification required
• Bone Density/DEXA certification required
• Hands-on DEXA experience required
• Hologic experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a steady-paced environment
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and professional
Schedule & Additional Details
• Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:00 PM
• Patients scheduled approximately every 20 minutes
• Primarily DEXA — X-ray support is only occasional
• No regular lifting requirements
• Mammography certification is a plus and may provide cross-training opportunities
• Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates relocating to Miami
