Role Overview
As a Behavioral Health Therapist (In-Home), you will offer counseling, therapy sessions, and coping strategies for seniors dealing with anxiety, depression, or life transitions. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide holistic, personalized care that addresses both emotional and physical well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Provide individual or family therapy sessions focused on geriatric mental health issues.
- Teach coping skills, relaxation techniques, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and physicians for integrated care.
Qualifications
- Licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist) in California.
- Experience working with older adults or in home-based settings preferred.
- Empathy, strong communication, and clinical assessment skills.
