About the RoleThe Behavior Therapist is responsible for providing one-on-one or small group interventions to consumers in the home, school, or community setting when, without treatment, behaviors may require a more restrictive setting. This role focuses on implementing behavioral interventions and supporting children and adolescents in achieving improved behavioral and developmental outcomes across environments.
Responsibilities· Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions in home, school, or community settings· Facilitate small group behavioral sessions as appropriate· Implement behavior management strategies and treatment plans· Support children and adolescents with autism and behavioral health needs· Collaborate with families, schools, and treatment teams to ensure consistent intervention· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided· Travel to multiple service locations as required· Adhere to all organizational, state, and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications· High School Diploma or equivalent· Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting· Experience with behavior management and autism in children and adolescents· Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and proof of car insurance· Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Clearances· Ability to travel and work at multiple locations
Preferred Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree· At least 1 year of experience in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
