Job Description
The University of Chicago's Ben May Department for Cancer Research seeks full-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Department has an illustrious history of discovery in cancer biology in a dynamic academic setting. Research in the department is focused on mechanistic insights into tumor biology with an emphasis on signaling, metabolism, and immunology and a goal to translate scientific discovery into the clinic. Appointees are expected to direct a proteomics core facility and establish an independent cutting-edge research program in cancer biology that complements and extends the research conducted by the Department. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible.
