Description
The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist at the Assistant Professor level for its expanding pediatric stem cell transplantation and collection programs.
The Division currently has seven faculty members and additional comprehensive programs in oncology, neuro-oncology, sickle-cell disease, and hemophilia. The Division is an integral part of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, a leading research institution, and the UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Department of Pediatrics ranks as one of the tip Pediatric Programs for NIH funding. Excellent opportunities for participation in clinical or translational research collaborations are available within existing programs in tumor biology and immunology, tolerance and graft-versus-host disease. The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology is a full member of COG, as active federally funded programs in pediatric oncology and sickle cell disease within the state-of-the-art UM Batchelor Children’s Research Institute.
