Job Summary: This role is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of chemotherapy, blood, iron, hydration, and other hematology/oncology treatments, alongside front office duties such as patient check-in and phone management. The position operates Monday through Friday, day shifts, with no weekend or holiday work required.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) credentials preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Fiscal: Collaborate with oncology and pharmacy teams to efficiently schedule infusions and office visits, ensuring productivity and a positive patient experience. Manage office supplies and maintain authorization processes for treatments.
• Quality: Support leadership in optimizing infusion center capacity and delivering cost-effective care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of chemotherapy regimens and scheduling guidelines.
• Patient Satisfaction: Promote excellent patient relations, provide timely responses, and facilitate smooth patient flow with minimal disruptions.
• Patient Safety: Ensure accurate scheduling and communication of care needs, maintain patient information confidentiality, and complete front office tasks including copayment collection.
• Professional Growth: Share knowledge with colleagues, demonstrate leadership, and engage in ongoing learning opportunities.
• Customer Service: Build strong relationships with patients, staff, and providers, fostering a respectful and collaborative environment.

This position requires clinical decision-making related to infusion schedules, chemotherapy regimens, lab requirements, and physical assessments. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of oncology management, symptom management, insurance authorizations, and computer proficiency. The role is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
