## About the Role
We are seeking an Area Business Manager (ABM) for our Hematology/Oncology team, covering the Seattle, WA geography. This is a remote position, but you must reside within the territory and be willing to travel daily to customer meetings. You will be accountable for achieving annual sales objectives by developing and maintaining key relationships with hematologists and oncologists in the region.
## What You'll Do
Your day-to-day will involve developing and implementing a business plan aligned with marketing strategies, using territory analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and customer insights – updated quarterly. You'll leverage Sanofi Genzyme resources effectively, positioning our oncology portfolio to appropriate customers. Close collaboration with field partners such as the Oncology Transplant Network Manager, reimbursement specialists, and other ABMs is essential. You'll also complete call reporting, business plan updates, expense reports, and ensure compliance with all Pharma guidelines. Effective account targeting and time management are critical, and you'll attend training sessions, conventions, and symposia as required. You must complete fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
## About You
• *Basic Qualifications:**
- BA/BS degree from an accredited school (business or life science preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience **OR** 1 year of previous Sanofi Oncology/Transplant sales experience **OR** healthcare-related experience
• *Additional Requirements:**
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Up to 2 years of successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or biotech products is preferred
- Working knowledge of and familiarity with the hospital and cancer center environment is preferred
- Driving a company car safely to daily meetings and appointments is required
