Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our ambulatory department, providing comprehensive patient care and clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities Include
Performing health assessments, physical exams, and diagnosing a wide range of health issues.
Providing direct clinical care, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting tests, and evaluating patient needs.
Developing patient and staff education programs, documenting care, and referring to other disciplines as appropriate.
Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, integrating research and clinical knowledge into decision-making.
Mentoring students, participating in quality improvement, and serving on hospital committees.
Maintaining certifications, continuing education, and advocating for patients and families.
Qualifications Include
Master’s degree in nursing or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution.
Acute care certification for APRNs or inpatient experience as an NP.
Current Illinois RN and APRN licenses, with certification by a recognized national body.
Privileges and credentials through the medical staff office, BLS certification.
