Job Description
Role: Advanced Practice Provider II in Outpatient Hematology Oncology, responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals in a designated clinical setting.
Key Duties: Perform clinical assessments, develop care plans, manage patient records, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams. Educate patients and families, coordinate follow-ups, supervise trainees, and serve as a clinical resource and role model. Participate in quality improvement, training, community outreach, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and practice standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or Physician Assistant studies, with 3+ years of relevant clinical experience and 5+ years in the field. Must hold current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, including specialty-specific certifications. Demonstrates leadership, effective communication, patient-centered behaviors, and knowledge of healthcare policies, protocols, and regulations.
Additional Requirements: Maintain current certifications and licensure, adhere to legal and organizational policies, and participate in ongoing professional development, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary teamwork to ensure high-quality, patient-focused care.
