Role Description This full-time, on-site Advanced Practice Provider role is based in Mount Pleasant, TX. The Advanced Practice Provider will collaborate with oncologists and the care team to deliver comprehensive care, including conducting patient assessments, managing treatment plans, and monitoring responses to therapy. Daily responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing symptom management and supportive care. The role involves educating patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and follow-up care, while coordinating services across disciplines. The Advanced Practice Provider will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, uphold clinical and regulatory standards, and contribute to a team-based, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications
• Clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care to manage complex oncology and chronic health needs.
• Experience or training in Critical Care Medicine to support patients with acute or high-acuity conditions.
• Background in Emergency Medicine to respond effectively to urgent oncologic and treatment-related issues.
• Qualification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or other Advanced Practice Provider, with eligibility to practice in Texas.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in an accredited advanced practice program (e.g., NP, PA) and current national certification.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills, with attention to safety and evidence-based practice.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
• Commitment to compassionate, culturally sensitive care and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Oncology experience or interest in cancer care; prior experience in a hematology/oncology setting is preferred but not required.
