Long Island University's School of Health Professions seeks adjunct faculty to teach clinical and laboratory courses in the BS/MS Occupational Therapy program at the Brooklyn campus. Preference given to candidates with pediatrics expertise.
Required Knowledge And Skills
• Adjunct faculty are required to have a minimum of a master's degree in their field. Applicants are required to have an Occupational Therapy license to practice in the State of New York in addition to certification through NBCOT as an OT. Minimum of 3-year occupational therapy clinical practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Teaching experience in Occupational Therapy; Knowledge and experience in using Brightspace LMS; Clinical experience in hand and upper extremity therapy practice and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) a plus.
