The technician must have a drive to excel in fast-paced environments with an attention to detail mindset.How You'll Contribute: Operation of Additive Manufacturing machines (EOS SLS, Stratasys Fortus 450, Stratasys 900, PostPro3D Vapor Smoother, Prusa i3Mk3s+ desktop FDM, and Stratasys Connex machines)Powder Handling: Powder blending to meet shop specification, SLS build breakoutsSupport removal: removing support structure from FDM printed models using manual methods or soluble bathPost-processing: Drilling holes, tapping holes, Installing inserts, Installing helicoils, Media Tumbling, Dyeing, Sanding, Bag and TaggingShop maintenance and cleaningRegular use of Xometry ERP and Magics software systems What You Bring to Xometry: High school diploma or equivalentHigh level of manual dexterity and mechanical aptitudeExtreme attention to detail and patienceAbility to work unattended while multitaskingAlgebra and basic computer skillsPerforms all work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year manufacturing or assembly experienceMachine shop / CNC experience a plusExperience in a demanding job, such as a commercial kitchen or high-output manufacturing companyBasic understanding of blueprints, drawings and 3D CAD preferred The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $45,000 - $50,000 annually depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
