Welcome to Oncology Voice Network!

Follow these simple steps to ensure you maximize the value of being a member of the OVN community.

  1. Getting Started
    • When you create an OVN account, start by following the prompts to personalize your OVN profile.
    • Once you've created your profile, you can click the icon with your avatar or initial in the upper-right corner to view your profile or optimize your features.
      • Choose "View Profile" to see how other OVN members see you.
      • Choose "Support" if you need help with any of the features of the platform, and a member of our team will be in touch. We encourage you to read this page first, because it may answer your question immediately.
      • Choose "Manage Account" to optimize the features of your profile. You will then see the menu below on the left side of the page.
        • Choose "General" to personalize your details. These details include your name, title, description, and links to your social platforms or external professional webpage.
        • Choose "Branding" to personalize how you look on the platform. Select the avatar and cover image that you would like to appear on your OVN profile.
        • Choose "Network" to connect with other OVN members.
          1. At the top of the page, you will see other members you are already following. You can navigate directly to their pages and manage the list as you wish.
          2. OVN will suggest new connections for you based on your interests.
          3. You can also search for members by name using the Search bar at the top of the page.
        • Choose "Interests" to view your personalized content feed related to oncology drug development.
          1. Here, you will see a list of the topics of interest you have already chosen. OVN will use these interests to personalize your content feed and recommend new connections for you.
            • You can also click on any individual topic to see what's new for that topic.
            • To stop seeing content for a particular topic, click "Unfollow."
          2. To choose more topics, click on "Topics" at the top-right corner of your screen.
            • Click on a topic to view what's new for that topic.
            • Choose "Follow" to add that topic to your personalized interests.
        • Choose "Communications" for direct messaging with other OVN members. These messages remain visible to you until you delete them.
        • Choose "Privacy and Security" to manage your OVN password.
  2. OVN Resources
    • In addition to your personalized feed and network, there are other ways to navigate through what OVN has to offer.
      • Click the OVN Home icon at the upper-left of your screen to go back to OVN's starting page. Scroll down to view overall trending content and topics.
        • You can search for specific content or people by typing them into the "Search OVN" searchbar at the upper-left of your screen.
        • If you are interested in contributing your own oncology-related content to OVN, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Become a Contributor" under the Resources menu.
      • Click "Topics" at the top-right corner of your screen to see the full selection of cross-functional content on OVN. Click on a topic to view what's new for that topic, and choose "Follow" to add that topic to your personalized interests.
      • Click "Partners" at the top-right corner of your screen to see the list of trusted Innovation Partner companies who are sponsoring OVN.
        • Choose a partner to learn more about their services, meet their subject matter experts, or browse their expert content.
        • If you are interested in sponsorship, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Become a Partner" under the Resources menu.
      • Click "Advocacy" at the top-right corner of your screen to access OVN's comprehensive database of oncology-related patient organizations. Patients are at the heart of why we do what we do!
        • All organizations are organized by USA or International.
        • Search for a particular organization or focus area using the search bar within the database.
        • Choose an individual advocacy organization to learn more about them.
